TURMERIC LATTE

Ingredients
1 teaspoon of turmeric

-1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon 

-1/4 teaspoon of ginger 

-1/8 teaspoon of Cracked black pepper 

-A teaspoon of Coconut oil 

-1 cup of coconut or almond milk 😊

Directions
Add all ingredients to a pot and mix together on low heat. Pour into a mug and enjoy! 

You have probably heard of this drink it has been increasing in popularity and popping up in cafes all over the show. Turmeric is a wonderful spice with many health benefits. The benefits of turmeric come from a compound called curcumin which also gives it the turmeric its bright yellow colour. Curcumin is known for all sorts of benefits, It is a antioxidant meaning it helps to free the cells in your body of free radicals as well as being a strong anti inflammatory. 
Black pepper … what!? 
The black pepper is an essential ingredient as it increases the the amount of curcumin that your body can absorb. 

Why add coconut oil?
The addition of fat is vital because curcumin is fat soluble meaning is needs that fat to dissolve for your body to then absorb it. 

Suuuuper easy recipe, I have one of these most days. I always feel really good afterwards and find it gives my skin an amazing glow. Hope you give it a go.
